“Any international treaty or agreement concluded by a Member of the United Nations. are registered with the Secretariat and published by it as soon as possible. »; (Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations) Often, the body is composed of states that are parties to the agreement (i.e., have signed, ratified or otherwise agreed to abeded the agreement). These may be called the Conference of the States Parties, the Assembly of States Parties or a similar designation. A UN Member State may also be a party to a convention. However, not all UN member states participate in all multilateral conventions. International treaties, conventions and agreements are an important part of international law. UN documents can be a rich resource for exploring the development of an agreement. According to the Moscow Declarations, the United States was liberated on May 21, 21. From August 1944 to October 7, 1944, the United States hosted the Dumbarton Oaks Conference to develop a master plan for what the United Nations would become.  Many of the rules, principles and provisions of the Charter of the United Nations were discussed during the Conference, including the structure of the United Nations system; the establishment of a “Security Council” to prevent future wars and conflicts; and the establishment of other “organs” of the Organization, such as the General Assembly, the International Court of Justice and the Secretariat.  The conference was chaired by the Big Four, with delegates from other nations involved in the review and formulation of these principles.
